Coyhaique National Reserve
Among its attractions are the Verde, Venus, Los Sapos and Los Mallines lagoons. In the reserve, the predominant vegetation formations are the deciduous forest (lenga, common coigüe, ñirre, ciruelillo, chilco, calafate and michay), as well as exotic plantations of various kinds of pine. It is also possible to observe fauna such as pumas, condors, chucaos, thrushes, cachañas, kestrels, black woodpeckers, red foxes, minks and coypus, among others.
